Der Sauvignon Blanc gärt und reift zum Großteil im Holz, was ihm die salzige Saftigkeit, Konzentration und Länge unserer im Holz vergorenen Sauvignon Blancs verleiht.
Dazu hat er deutlich mehr Schmelz, da wir hier besondere Fässer auswählen, die für einen weichen und cremigen Holzeindruck sorgen.
Einen kleinen Teil der Trauben unserer besten Sauvignon Blanc Weinberge haben wir für den Imperiale im Edelstahl ausgebaut.
Der Holzeindruck ist somit weniger intensiv, die betörende Exotik und Frucht jedoch umso intensiver.
Tropische Guave, Maracuja, Pfirsich, Orangenblüten, feine Haselnüsse und elegante Röstaromen machen die Nase des Imperiale zu einem vielschichtigen Feuerwerk.
Am Gaumen ist er schmelzig, dicht und saftet mit seiner herzhaften Säure ewig lang nach. Getragen wird das Erlebnis von feiner Pfirsich-Maracuja-Creme mit leicht gerösteten Haselnüssen.
