At the race circuit, high level of friction can be achieved along with high stability for an extended amount of time with the heat treatment. _x000D_ The 6 slots brake disc is adopted as standard in the HS type by considering various factors, such as pad wear, squeal and the removal effect of gas at the fading. | Remarks | The heat treatment does not directly improve brake performance. The heat treatment increases the disc resistance against strains and thermal cracking. It also helps maintain stable brake performance for a extended period of time. _x000D_ The surface of the heat treated brake discs has a burnt colour. Once it is used, the burnt surface will be removed by the pad, and changes back to the colour of normal cast iron. Please be aware that the effect of the heat treatment of the disc will not disappear even if the surface colour changes. _x000D_ 12 slots version (HST type) is available as a special order. the surcharge of 12 slots is JPY6,000 (w / o tax). _x000D_ our processing of the rotor, the above package we have shipped in. Were shipped in the package other than the above-mentioned "secondary processed products (slit, heat treatment, dimples, etc.)" will be our warranty. _x000D_ rotor is an image. Picky dog approved!

I have wasted so much money on dog balls that they won't even pick up! They finally were obsessed with the Kong rubber green/blue or red/blue ones, but they're $3+. each, and they break from the dogs squishing it. I honestly had zero expectations on these, and they BOTH picked them up on the first throw! That's huge!!
Seem to work fine in the ChuckIt.
As for the squeaker, at first I was like "Oh nooooo." when they both loudly started! Much to my (and my neighbors') happiness, the squeakers stopped working after a couple minutes. 🤣

The squeeker isn't durable, but the balls themselves are.

I have two 70+lb, ball obsessed dogs (a field bred Golden Retriever, and an Old Time Scotch Collie), and these balls are living up to the abuse they're receiving.
In the fall we always lose a ball or two in the yard due to getting lost in leaves or longer grass, so I always try and buy a multi pack at the start of the season, so went with these this year. I'm glad I did. Great price for a 6 pack, they fit the medium Chuck-It launcher (a little loosely, but they throw just fine), have great bounce, they FLOAT (which means I didn't lose any at the beach), and they're super durable to the dreaded "mouth squish." The squeaker dies pretty quick, like, within a day, but it isn't the kind that can fall out or choke your dog, so no worries there.
The boys are happy, I'm happy, my wallet is happy - I've already ordered another pack.
