Fruit was sourced from vineyards located in South Eastern Australia, where the climate is hot with high evaporation rates and generally low rainfall, making irrigation essential. Long sunshine hours ensure the fruit ripens fully and low relative humidity results in little incidence of disease.
In the winery grapes were fermented for a period of seven days, after which the wine was matured in stainless steel tanks and oak prior to final blending to create the approachable full flavoured wine we come to expect of McGuigan’s Black Label Cabernet Sauvignon.
Food Pairing: An ideal partner for red meat dishes, especially succulent roast dinners.
