The Spyderco Assist™ Salt® is a purpose-built rescue knife designed for emergency responders, mariners, and anyone who works in or around water. Combining the proven rescue features of the Assist model with ultra-corrosion-resistant H-2 blade steel, this knife delivers dependable performance in the harshest, wettest environments.

The blunt-tipped CombinationEdge™ blade enhances safety during rescue operations while still providing powerful cutting capability. Crafted with a hollow grind, the blade offers excellent slicing performance and corrosion resistance. The fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ allows fast, one-handed opening—even with gloves—while a secure back lock ensures reliable lockup during use.

Designed with rescue in mind, the Assist™ Salt® includes a recessed carbide glass breaker, a built-in survival whistle, and ergonomic finger grooves that allow the handle to scissor-cut rope in emergency situations. A reversible wire pocket clip supports ambidextrous carry and quick access when seconds count.
