From his partners in The Frames (Joe Doyle) and Swell Season (Marketa Irglova & Joe Doyle), to his touring family of players, to three Iranian brothers he met in Paris (the Kroshravesh brothers), Glen brought together a group of global talents who each left an indelible mark on this recording. "It became quickly apparent in the studio we were onto something interesting. I was finding new ways into the existing songs and we were improvising new ideas every day. When you surround yourself with great musicians and do your best to keep up, stay loose, give little direction, and allow everyone to bring what they bring, something transformative may happen. This collection of songs is mainly made up of those that came through while improvising and following the melodic lines and threads. Sometimes when you take a small musical fragment and you care for it, follow it, and build it up slowly, it can become a thing of wonder. In this sense, some of these songs weren't written in the traditional form; they were ideas followed to a conclusion. I want to thank all these great musicians for coming and giving these songs their best. All a song wants is to be heard. I hope something in this music can be of use to you. I know it's been of great use to me to make it. Beauty is in the ear of the behearer."

Office‑grade, solid, fast, and capable.
I didn’t just buy a different printer — I moved up a class.
Compared to my Canon PIXMA: I feel about the Epson WF 4834 the way someone feels when they finally replace a flimsy folding chair with an actual piece of furniture. The difference isn’t subtle — it’s structural.
Price is awesome. I’m getting my money’s worth and more. Solid machine. Super easy to install on my network. Wireless connection is great! I print from different rooms all the time. Print quality is outstanding, professional looking. Easy to use, period. So far, I’m not disappointed.

Great Value! Great Printer
THE ONLY reason I can't give it a five is because it is the only printer I have ever seen with two trays that you have to print one or the other. Aside from that, BEST Scanner App EVER! Easy!! Hardly ever jams and then only when I put too many in, rushing to finish. The quality is fantastic!

Hands down, the WORST printer I have ever owned. In THIRTY years.
I love Epson print quality so when my Epson finally bit the dust I HAD TO have another Epson. After lots of research I bought this one.
It takes FOREVER to wake up and print. It shouldn’t take 5 minutes to wake up.
I am a VERY light user. At the time of this initial review I'd maybe printed 500 pages total, so it's not like this thing has been put through the ringer or anything.
This thing CONSTANTLY jams. Or says it’s jammed. It may or may not be. But you’ll have to go through the motions every time you want to use it anyhow.
It burns through ink faster than a cracked out toddler dumping paint all over the floors and walls.
WHEN ONE COLOR RUNS OUT YOU CAN NO LONGER PRINT B&W
I’m sure there are more reasons why I hate this printer, I’ll try to come back to add them if I think of them.
THIS PRINTER HAS INSPIRED ME TO DISASSEMBLE MY OLD EPSON AND BECOME A PRINTER REPAIR TECH IN MY FREE TIME IN HOPES OF GETTING THAT ONE TO WORK. I don’t recommend that route either.
I think Epson has lost me forever.
All I want is a printer with their great print quality, two paper trays that accept different sizes, and a rear loader for heavier paper, that doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. My old WorkForce did all of that beautifully and for whatever reasons they decided that shouldn’t be an option anymore. RUDE.
UPDATE: This pile of junk will ALSO say that it is out of paper when in fact it is not. I hate it, so so so much.
