The interior surface and reinforced landing platform are crafted from deeply grooved wood, creating an excellent clinging surface on which bats may land. The single chamber measures 1" deep, and offers enough space for 100 bats. The bat house's exterior grade stain provides a lovely and natural-looking finish, and will also absorb heat while protecting the colony from the elements. The 0.25" ventilation slat in the front helps to regulate temperature and increase air circulation, and the 4" long, bottom landing platform enables several bats to land at once. The sides of the bat house extend downward, bringing extra strength and durability to this platform, and a slanted roof with a tongue and groove assembly keeps the interior dry and safe from the elements. A beautifully designed emblem of a bat in flight adorns the front of this shelter, and the furniture grade wood construction is built to last. This house may be mounted to a vertical surface with any of the three predrilled holes at the top and single stabilizing hole at the bottom. Monster Mutt Loves it
One of the Guardians of our home ranch adores her. First thing she grabs after waking in the morning. Lila Mae enjoys the shape as well as texture. Considering it keeps the South African queen happy and content. Compared to the Boers past toys which they easily bored of easily, the fem stays dillegent in her quest to capture Jaws.
