hese shifter cables were created for drivers that demand the ultimate shifting performance from the 03-07 Honda Accord V6 and 04-08 Acura TL V6. These cables have been dialed in through years of track and street use in our own test cars. Hybrid Racing shifter cables are a performance upgrade replacement for stock OEM cables. The solid rod ends, permanently lubricated core, spherical bearings, & aluminum end links give the Hybrid Racing cables a firmer, tighter feel over OEM cables resulting in fewer missed shifts and a more connected feel to the chassis.
Heat resistant up to 225*F with a max bend radius of 5" (for optimum life).
Hybrid created a cable to give people peace of mind and improved driving performance when they shift hard and during demanding racing applications, and the Hybrid Racing performance cables achieve this goal! Other notable features of the Hybrid Racing cables are spherical bearings, stainless steel push rods, and upgraded stainless steel swivel support tubes (oem are plastic) that are known to break on the OEM cables. All of the rod ends and mounting bushings are CNC machined 6061 aluminum, then black anodized before being laser etched with the Hybrid Racing logo and flair.
Are these cables a direct replacement for my OEM Shifter Cables cables? Yes!
The aluminum bushings simplify the installation a bit, but more importantly, it gets rid of yet another plastic part that tends to flex on the OEM cables, leading to a sloppy feeling shift. Because these cables were designed with performance applications in mind, there will be an increase in NVH. It is possible that more transmission noise and vibration will be transmitted into the cabin. Being that the Accord and TL have a ton of interior panels and a deep console, it is minimal, but keep in mind it may not be as quiet as stock parts.
Direct fit for part numbers: 54310-SDP-L02 (04-06 TL MT / 03-07 Accord V6 MT) & 54310-SEP-L01 (07-08 TL Type-S MT)
What is included with these shifter cables?
The kit comes with two shifter cables; each shifter cable set includes two cotter pins and clips for the shifter end. Hybrid also include new hardware for the shifter cable mounting plates that attach to the transmission bracket. You will reuse your OEM center bracket and cable seal.
Be aware that 07-08 Acura TL Type-S models utilize a different bushing than the previous 04-06 Sport models. This bushing is inserted into the spherical rod end located on the Front-Back lever on top of the transmission. See the install guide for details.

No Good Guys Here!
Format: Paperback
The Crime Syndicate are my favorite DC villains. However, I'm happy when their Justice League counterparts defeat them. I should have known this wouldn't be the case with their own title. It's interesting how the stories can still engage the reader knowing that the CS won't be sent back to their home base with their tails between their legs. All in all a very good read.

Crime Syndicate is an addictive pleasure!
Format: Kindle
Alternate realities have always been my favorite science fiction staple, and Crime Syndicate is no ption. My favorite character is Atomica because of how easily she gets things done when everyone else overlooks her. I'll definitely read more stories from writer Andy Schmidt.

I really wanted to be hopeful about this.
Format: Kindle
First off, I’ve been a DC multiverse fan for a very long time. And the concept of Earth-3 was always a fun idea. I enjoyed so many of the characters over the years. This had so much potential. But some of the designs are so clunky, and there’s nowhere near as much characterization as their predecessors had. Power Ring is the only one that feels an improvement. But the rest just didn’t thrill me (Atomica being one of the few that wasn’t tedious).
I know the writers always just can’t help themselves and have to rewrite the origins again and again. But the story could have been so much better.

Earth 3
Format: Paperback
I really enjoyed this reboot of the Crime Syndicate. It manages to feel new while still staying true to the existing stories. Never read anything by either creator, but I loved it. This should be an ongoing series.
