Care
General Maintenance: Repot roughly once a year. If rootbound, repot into a pot that is one size bigger. If not, change out the top few inches of soil to provide more nutrients to the plant. Rotate the pot every 1-2 weeks to encourage even growth on all sides.Temperature: Keep within 18°C - 26°C. If the temperature is too hot, the plant will dry out and burn, and if the temperature is too cold the plant will drop its leaves.
Light: Full sun to partial shade. It will also do well indoors with bright light (some direct sun, but at least in an area it gets a lot of bright indirect light).
Watering: The watering of your bonsai must never be neglected. Apply water when the 1-2 few inches of soil dry out. Never allow the soil to become completely dry. It is a good idea to use a moisture meter until you get to know the requirements of your bonsai tree. Water should be applied until it begins to run out of the holes in the bottom of your pot.
Soil: A balanced, well-draining soil that still retains a bit of moisture will let this bonsai thrive. This can be achieved by using a soil that is high in peat or coco coir, but also contains perlite for drainage.
Fertilizer: Fertilizing is also necessary if your bonsai is to remain healthy and beautiful. Since the bonsai grows in such a small amount of soil, it is necessary to replenish their supply of nutrients periodically. Any general-purpose liquid fertilizer will do fine, but they should be diluted to half-strength. Fertilizer should be applied at least once a month (except during winter).
