A: Yes. Multiple phones can access the same iControl controller when logged into the same Mars Hydro account via Wi-Fi. All settings and historical data will remain synchronized. When using Bluetooth, some history may not fully sync due to local storage limits while offline.
Q: What happens during a power outage? Will devices resume operation?
A: All Mars Hydro smart devices include a power-off memory function. Once power is restored, devices automatically return to their previous state with minimal or no delay.
Q: How are devices triggered under temperature & humidity strategy mode?
A: In Environmental Strategy mode, the iHub Pro continuously monitors your set temperature and humidity thresholds. If either value deviates, the system automatically activates the appropriate connected devices to restore balance.
Q: How do RJ12 compatibility and product limitations affect device control?
A: Only Mars Hydro devices with RJ12 ports can access full smart features such as dimming and fan speed control. Devices without RJ12 ports can still be plugged into the iHub Pro for basic On/Off, Timer, and Environmental Triggers, but advanced controls won’t be available.
Q: Can iHub Pro or iHub-4AC control devices from other brands?
A: Yes, but only with limited functionality. Third-party devices can be powered through the outlets and controlled with timers or basic environmental triggers. Advanced features like dimming or fan speed control are exclusive to Mars Hydro devices.
Q: Can I control multiple grow tents with one iHub Pro or one iControl?
A: No. Each iHub Pro and controller is designed to manage one grow environment at a time. For multiple tents with distinct conditions, separate iHub/controller units are required.
Q: Do specific outlets on the iHub Pro require matching Mars Hydro devices to function properly?
A: Yes. Ports labeled Light1, Light2, Fan, and Inline Fan must be paired with their corresponding Mars Hydro devices to enable smart functions like dimming or speed control. Other outlets are customizable and can be programmed for On/Off, Timer, or Environmental strategies.
Q: Are all RJ12 cables from Mars Hydro devices interchangeable?
