The iStarUSA WX-368 4-Post Open Frame Rack is a versatile, rugged solution designed to securely house your 19-inch equipment while promoting efficient airflow and ease of access. Built from a thoughtful blend of premium aluminum and steel, this open frame rack delivers a sturdy foundation for servers, switches, storage enclosures, and other network or data-center devices. Its open design isn’t just about visibility; it’s engineered to enhance cooling, reduce heat buildup, and help you stay ahead of equipment thermal issues in busy racks and crowded closets. The WX-368 is crafted for professionals who value reliability, scalability, and quick deployment—whether you’re outfitting a small data room, a lab, or a telecom cabinet. With smooth mobility via castors and the stability of leveling feet, you can position and secure this rack with confidence, even on uneven floors or challenging layouts. In short, the WX-368 is designed to protect your investment from environmental elements and everyday wear while delivering long-term performance, accessibility, and a clean, professional appearance for your critical gear.

  • Standard 19-inch open-frame 4-post design: Supports a wide range of 19" equipment with universal vertical mounting rails. The four-post configuration provides sturdy side-to-side rigidity and practical depth accommodation, making it easy to mount servers, storage arrays, patch panels, KVMs, and network gear in a single, accessible chassis. The open frame design grants unobstructed airflow and effortless access for maintenance, cable management, and upgrades, which translates to lower operational downtime and faster deployment for IT teams.
  • Premium aluminum/steel construction: The WX-368 blends lightweight metal with robust support to deliver a rack that’s strong enough to hold demanding gear while remaining easier to move than heavier all-steel designs. This combination creates a durable chassis capable of withstanding the rigors of daily use in data centers, server rooms, and lab environments, without sacrificing portability or long-term stability.
  • Mobility and stability with castors and leveling feet: Move equipment where you need it, then lock it into place with the integrated castors and stabilize with leveling feet for a perfectly flat setup on diverse floor surfaces. This capability is especially beneficial for installation in multi-purpose rooms, temporary data areas, or spaces where equipment must be relocated frequently for maintenance, audits, or reconfigurations. The dual approach ensures both mobility and precise alignment, reducing the risk of skewed racks or equipment strain.
  • Optimized airflow and environmental protection: The open frame structure is deliberately designed to maximize airflow around mounted devices, helping to dissipate heat more effectively than closed cabinets in many environments. This contributes to better equipment longevity and performance by minimizing thermal bottlenecks. Coupled with durable finishes, the WX-368 resists everyday environmental factors such as dust and humidity, helping preserve critical components over time.
  • Easy assembly, flexible mounting, and scalable growth: The WX-368 is built for straightforward assembly and accommodates a range of depths and configurations typical of professional IT and network installations. With adjustable rails and standard mounting hardware, you can rapidly install new devices and reorganize layouts as your infrastructure evolves, without the need for specialized tools or equipment. This flexibility is ideal for growing labs, IT closets, and data-center retrofit projects where rapid reconfiguration is a constant.

How to Install iStarUSA WX-368

  • Plan and prepare: Assess your workspace to determine the optimal location with level flooring and adequate ventilation. Confirm you have all mounting rails, hardware, and casters. Clear the area of obstacles to ensure safe handling during setup.
  • Attach mobility components: Install the casters and leveling feet to the base as instructed by the product’s factory hardware. Ensure the casters are locked when you position the rack in its final location to prevent unwanted movement during equipment installation.
  • Position rails and frame: Align the four-post frame and attach the 19" mounting rails to the posts. Use the provided hardware and verify front-to-back alignment to guarantee proper mounting of devices. Double-check that the rails are level to avoid misalignment of racking screws and equipment.
  • Mount equipment: Install servers, switches, and other 19" devices into the rails. Secure equipment using the appropriate screws or hardware, following manufacturer recommendations for weight distribution and load balance. Begin with heavier units at the bottom and distribute weight evenly across the rack for stability.
  • Cable management and airflow: Route cables neatly along the sides or through any built-in cable managers. Leave sufficient clearance around vents and ensure that cables don’t obstruct airflow. Perform a final check: verify all devices are secured, doors (if used) are closed, and the rack remains level after all equipment is mounted.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Good start to a series
Format: Kindle
I delayed reading the series for reasons I don’t remember. But my TBR list is huge so I thought I’d take a shot of this and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t think the blurb about it was anything special. But it was a very good book. It took some interesting twists and turns. I am so glad the second book is already out. Because I would not have waited patiently. Very slow burn but good storyline. 🔥🔥/5

A good read
Format: Kindle
Multiple points of view. 3 Alpha men and an Omega male. She is a Beta in training for a new program placing betas in Alpha/Omega packs. Mila is only doing the program for the money to take care of her dad. She wasn't expecting to fall for a pack but when she sees this packs Omega she is done for. There is just something about him. His Alphas are good looking as well. Too bad she is hiding a secret and their government is acting shady. I liked it and can't wait to see where their story goes.
