Build stronger, more welcoming communities with the Inclusive and Accessible Volunteering Certification Program by the Global Volunteer Recognition Program. This self-paced course is designed to help volunteers, leaders, and organizations of all ages and backgrounds create inclusive, respectful, and accessible environments for all participants.

Learn how to identify barriers to participation, practice inclusive communication, and support volunteers with disabilities, language differences, cultural backgrounds, and varying life experiences. Whether you're a volunteer coordinator, a youth leader, or just getting started, this course will empower you to lead with empathy and accessibility in mind.

This certification promotes allyship, diversity, and belonging—core values of impactful service.

Program Includes:

• 8 modules focused on equity, inclusion, and accessibility in volunteerism
• Self-paced learning that can be completed in any order
• Digital certificate awarded upon completion (quizzes require 18/20 score or higher)
• Real-world case studies, social media challenges, and discussion prompts
• Optional official printed certificate available
• No membership required
• Eligible volunteer hours for service awards

Course Pricing and Certificate Options

This course is offered as part of the Global Volunteer Recognition Program Leadership Academy and is available to both members and non-members. Membership is not required to enroll.

The standard course price includes access to the self-paced online training, all course modules, quizzes, learning activities, and a digital certificate of completion after successfully completing the course requirements.

GVRP members receive a discounted course rate as one of their membership benefits. If you plan to take multiple Leadership Academy courses, becoming a member may help you save on future enrollments.

An optional printed certificate may be purchased separately for those who would like a physical certificate mailed to them.

Leadership Academy courses are self-paced, flexible, and designed for volunteers, students, nonprofit leaders, pageant titleholders, community advocates, and anyone who wants to grow their leadership skills while making a positive impact.

Membership is separate from course enrollment and may include additional benefits such as member recognition, volunteer award support, monthly service opportunities, and special member-only discounts.
