Naturepedic may have perfected the art of the organic crib mattress. Made with the company’s patented WaveSupport technology, the Organic Lightweight Classic Crib Mattress offers excellent support and durability that compares to innersprings, but without the weight. Made from food-grade polyethylene, the wave structure achieves strength with less material, so the mattress weighs in at only 10 pounds (a boon to you when changing the sheets). The structural stability extends strong support equally across the center, sides, and corners. The mattress corners are squared (most others are rounded), giving a snug fit that helps avoid your baby’s limbs getting stuck between the mattress and the frame.

Layers of luxurious organic cotton batting around the wavesupport core create the perfect balance of firmness and comfort. The exterior is crafted with organic cotton fabric with a waterproof, 100% food-grade polyethylene surface. Making the mattress easy to wipe clean and prevents stains and smells. The seams are heat sealed to give make the mattress completely waterproof. Sealed seams create a barrier for dust mites and bed bugs and reduce the possibility of tears or unraveling threads.

If you’re concerned about chemical exposure, rest assured. Naturepedic mattresses passes all Federal and State flammability standards without the use of any fire retardant chemicals or flame retardant barriers. They are also free from polyurethane foam and vinyl and are tested for chemical emissions and certified to the Greenguard Gold standard, translating into a more chemical-free environment for your child.
