DUNU DN142 comes as a companion to the recently launched DN242 with a similar tribrid driver configuration. As you might guess, the DN142 refers to the driver setup of the pair. It features a seven-driver tribrid setup on each side housing one dynamic driver, four balanced armature drivers, and dual micro planar drivers. This seven driver setup delivers quality sound across a wide frequency response range.

Electronic+Physical Four-Way Crossover System:-

In order to get the best out of each driver unit and ensure ultra-low multi-driver distortion, DUNU has equipped the DN142 with a professional four-way electronic+physical crossover system. We have four independent acoustic ducts combined with a precisely tuned electronic chipset to achieve a clean and crisp sound response. This crossover precisely manages each frequency range and ensures exceptional coherency and seamless transitions across bands. The pair packs the dynamic driver for a crisp, defined, hard-hitting lower-end response. It employs two customized balanced armature drivers for natural vocals and detailed instruments in the midrange section. Two more customized balanced armature drivers produce a well-defined high-frequency band. Lastly, we have two customized micro-planar drivers that are tasked with producing the ultra-high frequency band.
