Charles Heidsieck Rosé Brut Réserve
You can never go wrong with the Charles Heidsieck, Rosé Réserve. This champagne rosé which has been made after the blend method. This is the most typical method for making rose champagne for big brands like Charles Heidsieck. This is a sophisticated elegant pink/orange Rosé champagne. After 36 months of aging in the cellars of Charles Heidsieck, this Rosé appears balanced and with elegant bubbles. 80% of the grapes are new harvest and 20% is from their reserve wine, with red wine making up to 5-6%. This helps to give the fragrance, tannins, and complexity of homemade strawberry jam and ripe red peaches. The careful selection of the best casks contributes to tones of gingerbread and cinnamon. The taste is deep and gives a good sensation in the mouth. Strawberries, raspberries and blackberries are to be found in the taste, while the champagne appears velvety soft. Charles Heidsieck, Rosé Réserve is made from 44% Pinot Noir, 28% Pinot Meunier and 28% Chardonnay.
As this is a non-vintage champagne we recommend not keeping it, because it is good to drink now.
