De verhoudingen moeten perfect zijn en aangepast aan het menselijke lichaam. Voor de lounge stoel Valerie vertrok ze van een ellipsvormige basis waaraan ze twee rechthoekige vlakken toevoegde, zit en rug in een perfecte hoek die comfortabel zitten mogelijk maakt. Ze koos voor gelakt staal zodat Valerie zowel buiten als binnen gebruikt kan worden. Daarnaast houdt ze van staal omdat het een eerlijk, wat bruut materiaal is. What you see is what you get. Het optionele zitkussen voegt extra comfort toe. De stof wordt ambachtelijk geweven en geconfectioneerd in België en werd door Marie gekozen omwille van het tactiele effect. Valerie is uitgevoerd in drie kleuren: wit, grijs of diepgroen. De bijpassende kussens zijn wit of grijs.
