Hout is een levend materiaal dat uitzet en samentrekt, waardoor scheuren en knopen ontstaan. We ondernemen stappen tijdens het transport en in ons magazijn om suarhouten artikelen te drogen en te coaten, maar het kan diep van binnen nog steeds vocht vasthouden dat na verloop van tijd naar buiten kan sijpelen.
