Deze DO Ribera Del Duero van El Mosaica de Baco, 100% Tinto Fino, is helderrood van kleur en heeft in de neus aroma's van donker fruit (zoals bramen) en pruim. Ook de secundaire (hout)aroma's zoals vanille, en een zekere kruidigheid zijn mooi waarneembaar. De wijn heeft 12 maanden houtrijping gehad in nieuw Frans en Amerikaans Eiken en heeft zijdezachte en fijne tannines.

Afkomstig van kalk- en kleirijke bodems uit de streek, met wijnstokken van meer dan 60 jaar oud. Het wijnhuis staat bekend om zijn focus op de Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) druif, die groeit op grote hoogte (900 meter) op deze kalkrijke kleigronden, wat de wijnen een kenmerkende structuur en frisheid geeft.

Ribera Del Duero hoort tot de meest prestigieuze wijngebieden van Spanje. In 1882 werd Ribera Del Duero erkend als DO, en bestaat uit ruim 24.000 ha aan wijngaarden. Het gebied ligt langs de oevers van de rivier Duero. Er heerst een continentaal klimaat met hete zomers en ijskoude winters. De wijngaarden liggen op hoogte, tussen 700-1000 meter, de temperatuurverschillen tussen dag en nacht zijn groot. Hierdoor blijven de zuren en aroma's in de druif goed behouden.
