Voor het begin van wijnhuis Orin Swift gaan we terug naar 1995, toen Davy Phinney ging studeren in het mooie Florence. Hij maakt in die tijd kennis met, hoe het werd gemaakt en hij raakte gefascineerd. Na zijn afstuderen begon hij als oogstmedewerker bij een plaatselijk wijnhuis. Hij besloot hard aan het werk te gaan om uiteindelijk iets voor zichzelf te beginnen. En hij richtte in 1998 Orin Swift Cellars op. Orin is de tweede naam van zijn vader en Swift is de meisjesnaam van zijn moeder. Als eerbetoon heeft hij deze twee namen samengevoegd. Stapje voor stapje liet hij het merk groeien tot wat het vandaag de dag is. Een wereldspeler op het gebied van wijnen uit Amerika!Volledige handmatige oogst voor deze Abstract van Orin Swift
De prachtige trossen worden met de hand geoogst in kleine kratjes waarna een hout lagering plaatsvindt. Er wordt gebruik gemaakt van nieuw en twee gebruikte vaten, hierdoor kan de wijnmaker het beter sturen. Na 8 maanden gerust te hebben heeft deze rode Abstract wijn indrukken opgebouwd in de geur van rijp rood fruit zoals frambozen, rijpe kersen en aardbei. Maar ook heeft het een vleugje bosbessen en kruiden. De smaak is rond en zeer krachtig met rijpe smaken van het zwarte fruit en andere volle smaken van onder andere verkoold vlees, rabarber, tijm, vanille en pruimen. Ok so I'm very happy that my standard poodle seemed to really enjoy this product. She was lacking and biting it for hours and days. That said she has still yet to make a dent in the bone. It seems to be too hard and too thick for her. I was surprised how heavy it was! It is large enough it is completely safe to leave her in the other room with. No strange odor or transfer of color. I'd say for the cost it isn't worth it as she is only getting filling and not able to eat the bone for some reason. Then again she is entertained for hours..so maybe so. Doesn't seem to bother her sensitive tummies either.

Yuummmy but priceyyyy

I personally didn't eat them but I gave my dog one. After one my dog found out where I stashed them, ripped the package open and grabbed the rest from the bag. He then hid them around the house and individually opened them and ate them. I know this because I kept finding plastic wrap everywhere and then empty bones.
So I'm going to guess they were delicious. Also a bonus to have extra bones for them to chew on and you to step on! I will say, I didnt like how they were all individually plastic wrapped, made it difficult for me to open them.

Great dog toy!

This is my third or fourth purchase of the same toy. My 45 lb super chewer dog loves to chew on this and especially likes to play tug of war. He is very rough on toys and most do not last longer than a few weeks. This toy lasts about 2 years - which is amazing considering my dog plays with it every day. Eventually it breaks in half during a tug of war session, but I don’t consider that a flaw or a problem because we definitely get our money’s worth of playtime! I’m happy to buy a new one every couple of years and I will keep buying it as long as it is available.

Still going strong after three months of Doberman teeth!
Color: Green
This was one of the first toys I purchased for my adopted 4 year old Doberman Pinscher. It has been chewed, and chewed, and chewed some more. This is one of his 3 favorite toys when he has to go in his crate. As of yet there are no significant teeth marks, holes, or missing pieces. It is solid rubber, light weight compared to a similar toy he has, and just the right size to carry around in his mouth. He seems to enjoy the sensation the little rubber nubs have on his gums when he chews it. We have also used this toy to play tug of war and fetch for the same reasons listed but also because the neon green color is easy to see especially if the dog gets distracted and leaves it in the yard. When playing fetch the weight of the toy does not lead to rotator cuff surgery with repetitive throwing on the part of the dog's human! When it gets too dirty and slimy for my tolerance, it is easily washed in the laundry room sink with dish detergent and a sponge always returning to its Spic n' Span original appearance. If and when he chews this one up, I will not hesitate to replace it.
