Basile and Yoan conceived of the Le Vin des Potes name (“mates’ wine”) because it captures their ethos of working hand in hand with winemakers, making their own blends from grapes grown by their friends. Although each cuvée sees them working with a different winemaker, they only work with organic or Demeter certified grapes, blending a wine that reflects the identity of its terroir.  Vin des Potes is a tribute to the know-how of the passionate men and women tending to the beautiful vineyards from which these wines come.

This is a skin contact white from Samos, where the terroir is basalt with volcanic rock and schist. Sea breezes and clouds come in from nearby mountains. Vinification: Spontaneous fermentation of free-run juice. No stirring. Ageing for 9 months in 500L wooden casks. 

Grapes: 70% Muscat a petits grains, 30% Assyrtiko
