Ocean’s Legacy’s relentless pursuit to build the ultimate power slow pitch for big game has resulted in the Elementus Slow Pitch. Building on our highly successful “Slow Element” series that punched well above it’s price tag and labelled best bang for buck slow pitch rod in Australia. Using multi blend high grade Toray graphite & Cross Core Technology, we were able to achieve an increase in strength by up to 28% yet improving responsiveness by 15% without any additional weight over the Slow Element series. Our test results for the PE3 blank dead lifted 27.6kg @ 45 degrees.

The Ocean's Legacy Elementus blanks are made from the best Japanese 40T Toray Carbon high modulus fibre and are specially rolled to provide anglers outstanding pitching ability and superior stopping power. The slow pitching for ultra deep species and dogtooth tuna were top of mind while designing the Elementus range of rods. The 6'3" length of this line of rods allows for unmatched slow pitch jig handling, and the Cross Carbon wrapping gives anglers enough of stopping strength, allowing them to hold up large fish in the deep and subdue enraged doggies. Fuji DPS reel seat and bespoke locking nuts made exclusively for Ocean's Legacy and Fuji double footed KW series are employed in Elementus ultra deep tuned jigging rods, which use only the highest quality Japanese components. The entire range of Elementus rods have been extensively tested throughout Western Australia, Christmas and Cocos Keeling Islands to depths greater than 400m with jigs over 1000g tackling the likes of XOS Ruby Snapper, Hapuka, Bass Grouper and Dogtooth Tuna.
