Je me propose d'écrire l'histoire d'une révolution mémorable, qui a profondément agité les hommes, et qui les divise encore aujourd'hui. Je ne me dissimule pas les difficultés de l'entreprise, car des passions que l'on croyait étouffées sous l'influence du despotisme militaire, viennent de se réveiller. Tout-à-coup des hommes accablés d'ans et de travaux ont senti renaître en eux des ressentimens qui paraissaient apaisés, et nous les ont communiqués, à nous, leurs fils et leurs héritiers. Mais si nous avons à soutenir la même cause, nous n'avons pas à défendre leur conduite, et nous pouvons séparer la liberté de ceux qui l'ont bien ou mal servie, tandis que nous avons l'avantage d'avoir entendu et observé ces vieillards, qui, tout pleins encore de leurs souvenirs, tout agités de leurs impressions, nous révèlent l'esprit et le caractère des partis, et nous apprennent à les comprendre. Peut-être le moment où les acteurs vont expirer est-il le plus propre à écrire l'histoire: on peut recueillir leur témoignage sans partager toutes leurs passions.
Quoi qu'il en soit, j'ai tâché d'apaiser en moi tout sentiment de haine, je me suis tour à tour figuré que, né sous le chaume, animé d'une juste ambition, je voulais acquérir ce que l'orgueil des hautes classes m'avait injustement refusé; ou bien qu'élevé dans les palais, héritier d'antiques privilèges, il m'était douloureux de renoncer à une possession que je prenais pour une propriété légitime. Dès lors je n'ai pu m'irriter; j'ai plaint les combattans, et je me suis dédommagé en adorant les âmes généreuses.

Finally sleeping well again

Got the standard soft and the height is just right - perfect mix of plush and supportive. My neck pain is basically gone. Love that it stays cool through the night thanks to the little vent holes, and the Tencel cover feels super soft. Holds its shape really well too, no flattening. Packaging felt like a gift. Worth every penny.

Natural Dunlop Latex Topper Has Multiple Uses
Size: Twin XL 2"
This is a well made, high quality, 2” thick piece of all-natural latex. You can use it on top of any bed to provide a nice, comfortable mattress topper that has a medium-firm feel to it. It gives good support for those who sleep on their back and on their sides. The latex topper springs back and sleeps cooler than memory foam toppers, which compress and generally sleep hot. Latex toppers cost more upfront than memory foam toppers, but they can last twice as long.
I built a custom-made all-natural latex bed that was too soft and didn’t provide enough support. I removed a 2” thick piece of ultra soft (#14) Talalay latex inside the bed and replaced it with this 2” thick piece of Dunlop latex for more support. I then used the Talalay latex on top as a mattress topper and now my bed is perfect! Once you’ve slept on all- natural latex, you’ll never want to go back to artificial memory foam.

Discovered latex and thrilled
Size: Queen
Bought a Beautyrest mattress in late 2021 that now is uncomfortable and has dips. Beautyrest would reject the 10 year warranty due to a single stain on mattress (based on their policy), so I didn't even bother. So, I pondered if I should order a new one and which one. In the process I found out latex toppers may save the day. Talatex medium firm mattress in queen size was received within a week and a half and installed on top of existing Beautyrest mattress. Since then, no pain in hips, no sweating at night, no neck problems. My daughter tested it one night with me, and since then wants to sleep on my bed and not hers, so this is really reviewed by two people. Excellent product!! Has a bounce but you don't sink in it (two mattresses ago, I had a 13" high end high density visco elastic memory foam mattress where sinking into it happened). When I can afford, I will buy a 4" latex topper firm and install that under the existing 2" Talatex medium firm over a slatted base. I'll do away completely w/ the mattress I'm using now.

Does not provide much pressure relief

It does keep you cooler/neutral. It needs to be a little denser. When you are on it, it goes pretty flat. It does help some but my hip needs a little more support that this offers. Be aware, the cover has a coating of fire retardant. We asked them to send one without the toxic chemicals. (Personal choice)
