This all-in-one license plate kit is designed to capture license plate images with exceptional clarity and sharpness. With AXIS License Plate Verifier preinstalled, it can read plates at speeds up to 200 km/h (124 mph) and from distances of up to 100 m (328 ft) during daylight. In pitch darkness, it reads license plates up to 50 m (164 ft) or 100 m (328 ft) with the optional AXIS T90D20 IR-LED Illuminator. Our edge-based license plate recognition approach means the camera manages processing and storage, eliminating the need for expensive servers and reducing bandwidth requirements. It ensures fast and efficient search in any major VMS, so you can quickly find specific plates.

It's purpose-tuned, meaning the image algorithms are preconfigured to prioritize license plate capture only, so there’s practically no setup required. And it comes with remote zoom and focus. It offers tight integration with other Axis devices, and thanks to open APIs, it’s also easy to integrate with third-party software for more specialized, complex applications. Furthermore, with a wide range of installation accessories available, this license plate verifier kit offers flexible mounting options.

AXIS Q1800-LE-3 has an operating temperature range from -40°C to 60 °C (-40 to 140°F). Robust and weatherproof, it ensures durability in the toughest conditions. It includes an extra-long weathershield that can withstand hurricane-force winds of up to 60 m/s (134 mph) and resist harsh weather impacts (IK10-rated casing, IK08-rated front glass, and IP66- and NEMA 4X-rated). Plus, electronic image stabilization ensures stable images when the camera is subject to vibrations. This kit works anywhere in the world and can read both front and back license plates driving in any direction.
