Combinando tre effetti distinti all'interno di un singolo filtro, il 4 x 5.65" IRND 0.3 Diffusione digitale/FX 2 Filtro da Tiffen offre una riduzione dell'esposizione di 1 stop, attenua le lunghezze d'onda infrarosse e ammorbidisce leggermente i dettagli della pelle e gli sfondi strutturati. Progettato per l'uso con la cattura video ad alta definizione con sensori CMOS e CCD, questo filtro compensa la sensibilità estesa al rosso di questi design dei sensori per produrre colori più puliti e precisi e inoltre elimina il "bordo digitale" eccessivamente nitido per una qualità dell'immagine più fluida. Il filtro è realizzato in vetro ottico bianco acqua per mantenere la nitidezza e misura 4 x 5.65" / 101.6 x 143.5 mm per abbinarsi bene a matte box leggeri o a clip.

Riducendo la necessità di utilizzare più filtri contemporaneamente, questo filtro combina tre effetti distinti per ridurre il numero di superfici filtranti in uso.
Il filtro IRND 0.3 offre una riduzione dell'esposizione all'arresto 1 per consentire di lavorare con tempi di posa più lunghi o impostazioni di apertura più ampie del normale.
Il design attenuante a infrarossi è proporzionato al valore di densità neutra e aiuta a garantire colori puliti, precisi e neri reali.
L'effetto Digital Diffusion/FX ammorbidisce i dettagli della pelle e gli sfondi testurizzati per una qualità dell'immagine più uniforme.
La forza di diffusione n. 2 determina un notevole ammorbidimento, maggiore della forza 1 ma inferiore alla forza 3.
Adatto per applicazioni video ad alta definizione in cui un "aspetto digitale" eccessivamente nitido non è desiderabile.
Il design della diffusione rimane invisibile quando l'obiettivo viene fermato per una maggiore versatilità nel controllo dell'esposizione.
