The body of the AGB200 is built from a linden back, sides, and top finished with a beautiful natural stain under a satin polyurethane coating, allowing the grain of the top to be seen clearly through the finish. The bass also features two F-holes and a single cutaway for an easier access to the upper range of the fingerboard.

A key contributing factor to the AGB200's sound is its 3-piece maple and nyatoh set neck, designed to provide added sustain. This neck features an Artcore Bass profile, and is host to laurel fretboard with bound edges, as well as a 15.75-inch radius, 22 medium-sized frets, and classic dot inlays.
