This is an outstanding shiraz, making its mark from the first whiff of the bouquet (and colour). Black fruits, fine tannins and oak move tightly together on a choreographed dance that weaves its way across a palate which miraculously is no more than medium-bodied. To say the wine is graceful does it scant justice, as does the mention of spice and licorice coupled with black cherry fruits.
